Dev Journey Part 2


Here is a little peak into how we are designing our maps. Rather than use universal tile maps, each room is laid out in Photoshop pixel by pixel so we can add a little bit of character to each room. It can get a little monotonous, exploring a dungeon and seeing the same tiles on every screen. The differences are subtle here but even a little bit of flavor can help each room feel a little unique, more of which will be part of the final phase of design when we can go back and tighten everything up.
